Our Story
We are a family run business with a strong belief that the right footwear gives children the freedom to move naturally and supports healthy foot development. Our journey began when we struggled to find comfortable, foot-friendly shoes for our own son and discovered the world of barefoot footwear.
Our name Cheekytoes reflects everything we believe in. Inspired by the British expression βcheeky monkeyβ for playful little ones, we combined it with βtoesβ to celebrate the freedom of movement that barefoot shoes encourage. To us, it represents curious little feet, ready to run, explore and grow naturally.
We started from scratch, turning our conservatory into a small warehouse and a spare room into our first office. With Fernandaβs passion for health, nutrition and fashion, and Gonzaloβs background in footwear retail and design, we set out to bring some of Spainβs finest barefoot brands to families across the UK.
Today, Cheekytoes is built around simple values: family, sustainability, quality and child well-being. Our mission is to help little feet grow strong and healthy by offering premium barefoot shoes without compromising on comfort, style or craftsmanship.
